His brother basically turned into a shut-in, but with medicine instead. If the medicine he makes is any good, they should be able to profit off of it instead of just using it for barter. Presumably, the market is currently biased against the yokai as well, which makes that difficult, though.

@otakubouzu I would imagine that their higher ups aren't actually the best of people, and taking down the people managing the center and distributing the drug goes against their interests, whatever they may be.

This might be a set-up of their group going rogue or something. I wonder how that'll go.
