Also, these are Karasu Tengu (Crow Tengu), which are the lesser ranked version of the Dai Tengu (Great Tengu) that resides in MC’s body and blood. Calling them Crow-billed Goblins somehow doesn’t seem to sit right because Tengu doesn’t truly translate into English as ‘goblin’. At least mythology doesn’t call them that, not as far as I know. They’re only called that in plays and games. In fact, the name Tengu is translated as ‘Heavenly Sentinel,’ or ‘Heavenly Dog’. ‘Dog’ due to the name’s origin in Chinese mythology, ‘Tiangou’. Whatever the case, even in professional settings, ‘Tengu’ is usually left as is.
