Well, romance isn't my cup of tea, but I like Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches.

@yourisekaiwitchess Oremonogatari fits most of your requirements, it's light, romance, romcom with school life. Though, it was completely published in JP but the English translation was dropped due to official English translation. It was published in my country so I bought it and I could honestly say it's a very nice romance manga, lovely ending as well. If you can get your hand on the English publication, please give it a try.

I would recommend ReLIFE if you haven’t already read it. I just just binged it and wow, it was amazing.

I don't know that all of these land within your strike zone, and there's unfortunately a couple of titles that were the unfortunate (in my opinion) victims of Axe-kun, but here's my list:

A Story about Confessing Before the End of the World: A one-shot that just barely fulfills the school life criteria, but manages to be funny and cute within the span of the few pages it lasts.

Futari no Jikan: This author seems to be a chronic victim of good ol' Axe-kun, but I thought this short little series was charming enough, and wrapped up rather neatly, if not a bit abruptly.

High Position: A bittersweet high school romance story about what you might do if you had a second chance at reliving those years of your life. Ends pleasantly enough, but can--and does--get a little heavy from time to time.

Saotome Senshu, Hitakakasu: On the surface, this looks like a story about a high school boxing club, and it is, but a good majority of the story is focused around our two leads and the romance between them, and by the end of it, the boxing has almost taken a backseat to the romance. Probably my second-favorite in the list.

Sasen mo Warukunai: Not a school life story, but definitely my favorite in the list. It's a cozy little tale about a military officer adapting to civilian life and learning how to be a good husband. The story tends to focus more on the officer and his life, admittedly, but watching him grow and become more aware of what it means to be married and start a family is surprisingly charming.

Territory of a Shark Girl: I'd say this one is a bit more of a slice-of-life than a strict romance, it's still cute, and brisk enough of a read to be enjoyable. Another unfortunate victim of the chopping block.

Tomodachi o Tsukurou: Okay, the last one is a bit of a curve ball--this one borders on simply being pure comedy, rather than romcom, but it does gradually develop something of a romance by the end of the story. Until then, the general bizarre nature of the story makes it worth following the protagonists to its conclusion.

Hopefully one of these ends up doing it for you, but if not, I hope you do find what you're looking for! Happy reading.

I'll get the mandatory ones out of the way
Gotoubon was mostly good until Negi screwed it at the end, so, despite enjoying my time with it, I'd suggest avoiding it

Komi-san is the obvious go-to, but you probably already know that and/or have read it.

Please Don't Bully Me, Nagatoro is about a socially awkward loser and his Kouhai who tends to harass and tease him. No, she is not a tsundere, thank god. She will, however, get jealous if someone else tries to bully him, put an end to it if someone goes too far or insults/belittles him, and doesn't like it when he hangs out with the Art Club President. They have a great dynamic and she's very playful and enjoyable to watch as a character due to her reactions.

The Duke of Death has several couples that are very engaging and enjoyable to watch and get a lot of good chemistry and development.

My favorite, though, are usually kinda weird. (Note: I don't read Yuri so I won't be able to give my two cents on that.)

Yancha Gal no Anjou-san is a very good read-especially as there's no love rival up to this point and it's more focused on a character study between the two leads. The female lead is a Gyaru who loves to tease the main character, but deep down they're both insecure but genuinely care about one another and are willing to do a lot for each other-even if the other person isn't watching.

Kubo-san is a manga about a boy who is basically non-existent to everyone but the most popular girl in school, who is the only one who can see him. What develops can only be described as absolutely adorable

Kaiju Girl Caramelize
is a rarely-updated but much-beloved story about a girl who whenever she feels extreme emotions turns into a Kaiju. Cue her falling in love.

https://mangadex.org/title/24104/sono-bisque-doll-wa-koi-wo-suru seems to be a good read from what I have read so far, though that's not a whole lot. It seems to have a couple between a boy with a very niche-hobby of doll making (which as someone who paints minis is something I can respect) and how one of the popular girls ends up falling for him and his ability to help her look fashionable.

Asuperu Kanojo is a about a girl who runs away from home due to mistreatment and goes to live with the only person she can think of-a down-on-his-luck porn artist. (No, nothing lewd happens, as he makes it a point of principle later on.) What ensues is a good depiction of various mental health issues, a solid character study of the two and them trying to make their way in the world.

Abs Knight (not the real title but whatever) is the story of Fooly who is a young mage who falls for the most dangerous woman in the world because of her abs. I am not shitting you. It's sweet, but Fooly has to deal with constant thots trying to make moves on him.

Succubus no Hanashi has the main character be visted very night by a Succubus named "Lily" where she says that she can drain his vitality in exchange for whatever dream he wants. Instead of asking for lewd or perverted dreams, he instead asks for simple ones like being able to play video games or having a cat to play with. Slowly, she starts to fall for him.

My recently hired maid is suspicious (Alt)-A young kid and his maid which he thinks is up to black magic because of his feelings for her, and a maid with 0 defense and 100 attack. Comedy ensues

My Elite Senior Dame Knight Only Acts Cute to Me-Boy is the best guard of his age and falls in love with his senior officer at first sight-who proceeds to treat him as a joke. So, he proceeds to tease her everyday in order to try and win her heart

The Clueless Transfer Student is Assertive-Socially excluded girl + Socially inept and very honest boy = a recipe for a good time

Hitomi-chan is shy with strangers-pretty much what it says on the tin. It's kinda like Komi-san except less gag-based and Hitomi gives off more of a menacing impression to everyone but the audience

Ano Hito no I ni wa Boku ga Tarinai-the story of an eldritch horror and her boyfriend who get pursued by monsters. It's more wholesome than it sounds, but there is some nightmare fuel.

Ane Naru Mono-After his parents dies, a boy is forced to live in the home of his comatose uncle, who warns him never to go into the shed. He does, naturally, and finds a demon who says she'll grant him one wish before he dies. He wishes he has a family and so she turns into his adoptive "Onee-san."

Mato Siehi no Slave-In this universe, people disappear to an alternate universe which parallels our own at random. MC, who was trained by his big sister before she disappeared, wants his own harem. He ironically gets his wish in a way he didn't expect, as he gets "enslaved" by a member of the Anti-Demon Corps to ensure both of their survivals due to an ability she has. He gets his harem-except he's basically their property.

MobuSeka-A satire of Otome games/Isekais in which the main character is transported to the world of his sister's Otome after he dies playing it. He proceeds to utterly and completely tear the living shit out of how shallow the reverse harem is and breaks the game. As you can imagine, things get weird.

> Mato Siehei no Slave

There's literally zero romance. Just typical ecchi-shounen.

Edit: Just remembered a couple of good romcoms - Love*Com aka Lovely Complex (target demographic is josei/shoujo but still good read) and of course best romcom of all times Love Hina!

Just forget what tamerlane said and get into the character without forcing your ship if you ever read 5 toubun. He doesn't even provide anything completed in his list.

Also, yeah best bet for warm romance is Ookami Shounen wa Kyou mo Uso wo Kasaneru.
Other than that I would suggest Hadi Girl. These two are literally the only non loli stuff that makes my kokoro scream every chapter.
