Unfortunately, you are wrong, partly.
This jerk prince's life was sad. His parents hated him; his mother was a spy from another kingdom, abused him and did not love him. He had been betrayed by the people he trusted. As a result, he became a piece of shit, not knowing any limits, trust, love and loyalty. All the people he killed in the past were suspicion of treason, some of them were plotting in the beginning, some were plotting after witness his murder sphree.

Turned out FL were not blood-related to the Belois, she was a descendant of the royalty related to the jerk prince, the Belois family was plotting to overthrown the prince and make the Queen of the country, so they all got excecuted except FL, because she was innocent and did not know the truth.

But still, it doesn't change the fact that the prince was and is a piece of shit.

oh girl, you should have investigated more about the princess. Also if she didn't know shit about how money and her family worked then how is she so sure her family is good? (This does not justify the way the prince handled things tho, he tortured her) Like her aunt, she doesn't know her, she just remembers that she married a man and died with him.
