You know how toxic the fandom from some country that want equality but have double standard. That's about the ship what the chad author make conclusion about and those people unfollow his X and his lost 10k. All the yapping those minority yap.

Erotica can be wholesome sometimes. I won't vouch for frequency though. All of the Yuri I like that fall into the erotica category I consider wholesome(at least sometimes). Check out my lists. This is probably only an unpopular opinion with religious types, but I'm a religious type and so are most people I know IRL. Seriously check out the Yuri on my lists, they are guaranteed to be interesting and original works. Yes this is shameless advertising, but I haven't broken the thread's topic, so I only feel mildly embarrassed.

There are multiple things that people are mad about. But it's mostly spawning from BNHA's shipping scene. The people that are pissed are pissed because the author made Deku x Uraraka cannon. And because BNHA has (had?) a very toxic shipping scene, where even before the ending people were throwing deeply personal insults, slurs and in some cases even doxing. When the author made a ship cannon, and it wasn't their ship, people got very very heated.

Or at least, thats what it is from what I can tell. I try to avoid these things as it's just exhausting and mentally taxing.

Yeah, it really is. but i do think it's separate groups of fans for both those controversies. There's also the group of people who weren't fans who mocked the original ending who, i think were also a part of the second group. OG ending controversies are very muddy thanks to that

in sheer numbers i guess this take is unpopular, but for anyone with quality discernment it's just true. demon slayer's writing was lab-tested to appeal perfectly to the lowest common denominator. imo season 1 was decent though
