Does anyone remember the "Bloody Mary" one , I believe it base off some movie or something like. Since I remember hear something about movie that came out during elementary years. Which I believe the entire superstition came to be from the movie. If I remember the superstition goes something like this you have to bathroom and face the mirror say Bloody Mary 3 time and then reflection turn into bloody Mary or she'll appear in mirror something like. Any way I remember A brunch of older kids/ classmates were always try get other kids to do the ritual by claiming that have they have done it but in reality it was either A. They did the ritual but nothing happen so now they need someone to do to fell less embarrass or B They just lie. some of us actual believe and couldn't use the bathroom because of it. I also remember this superstition always dying from being irrelevant and then becoming relevant again just for the cycle to repeat it self throughout my elementary years.

Here another really "spooky one" so my in middle school, there is about mysterious elevator that our principle always mention during fire drills However the thing is my middle school was just one floor building. so I'm assuming that my middle school principle was just reading out a script that my high school principle created because over there was elevators and so my principle was too lazy just to delete one sentence is my guess.

When I was in elementary:
-The school used to be a hospital and the 3 bathroom was used to be patients' room and people died in it. So if someone wants to pee or poop, they have to say "excuse me". But the toilet was small as heck tho lol. There's no way a person can sleep fit trough that xD Don;t know where the rumor even started (hospital and ghost)

In middle school:
- A high school girl got possessed. 4 boys grabbed her by the arms and legs, they lift her up above their heads. She yelled, struggled, and rocking her head like a mad man. A priest/father led the way while holding a cross and a bible. Every other students (including me) didn't stand in their way , instead we watch from the sidelines and made way for them. They went into a secluded room, I heard it was used to exorcist the demon

@aoirei what was so "scary" or wrong about that girl? i don't understand.
I think you didn't even tried because of the massive prejudice about her and maybe thought of something like "i was even gentle with her", while treating her like a disabled person.
Your classmates defended her while talking with each other, never in front of her. She only knew what she saw: people that were laughing about her, people that bullied her, people that saw her like a creep... and then maybe she saw you with those people, laughing even. Yes, people change, but labels sticks and in her eyes everyone was her enemy, even if they weren't bulling anymore, just because they didn't see her as a normal person.

Maybe she was in that kind of loop of thoughts, you know... dark, alone, no one loves me, ecc. No one talked to her directly, only for something "official" or "to be gentle", no one had a normal conversation with her like "urgh, that thing/guy/girl really pissed me off, he did that and that" or "did you see that guy on tv yesterday? he was sooo hot..." or "i read a manga that talked about... do you like it?".
You know, we talk with our friends in and out of school everyday, for years, we did that without thinking, it's normal. I don't think she had that experience in talking with someone so she didn't know what to do or how to respond when she was with people, always awkward.
When we don't have experience we tend to emulate/copy someone close to us, like children with their parents, but she only had people that treat her like a creep. I bet no one even tried to approach her alone saying something like "people are making fun of you because that and that, you should try to do this and that and be like this".
People have their lives, their own world to think about, i get that, but its sad nonetheless.

You told most of your story like it was something that someone told you or that you talked with someone about. Like she wasn't even in your class, like you were talking about someone else's classmate. At some point maybe you were even pissed at her because she was too close to your boyfriend.
Then maybe some old bullies of hers contacted her with some fake account and asked to take pictures of girls they liked. And every time, they would say to her how great she was and how mean you all were, something like "f**k those pieces of s**t! you should tell them! who cares what they think! yeah! you got us!" just to make her do things, so her confidence grew and she became a witch with a b. She hated all of you, even the teachers that were doing nothing and considering that her reputation couldn't go any lower, she didn't care about anything anymore.

So when she grew up, after killing herself or faking her death, one by one everyone who mistreated her was found dead, with a stick/pencil with their name carved on it and pierced somewhere in their body.
Still a better story then most isekais. 🤪

The university I attended is at the province, almost at the end of the highway and located below/within the mountain.
Most of the students stay at the dorms inside the school since we came from different regions and provinces.
There were many ghost stories that have been circling around since the school is located in a rural, and forest-type area.

Story 1
This is the most famous story within the dorms, since this actually happened (as per the sources).

Four students share a typical room inside a dorm. Each person has a cabinet locker that is approximately 3'x4'x8' high.

So just before the semester break, i.e. about 4 weeks, roommate A has left a note to roommate B to lock his cabinet since he was already on the way back home and forgot to do it. The cabinet was closed and the lock was outside, so roommate B did as told and locked it. He went back home to his province soon after.
After the break, the roommate went back to the dorm. But after opening the door, there was a stench in the room. He thought it was just a rotting dead rat so he cleaned and looked for the carcass, but he didn't find it. He just let it be.
Some days after the new semester started, they noticed that roommate A still didn't come back to school, and the stench was still there. They've found out that unpleasant smell come from inside roommate A's cabinet. They called A but they couldn't reach him.
They told the caretaker of the dorms about the stench and they immediately unlocked the cabinet by force.

And, there they found roommate A's body. He was locked inside the cabinet and died of thirst and hunger. There was also a letter inside that said that he failed most of his subjects last semester, and that he was sorry to his parents for not living up to their expectations.

@aoirei Puberty is one hell of a drug. We have no choice but to take it. It affects us differently.
@alipz Interesting story. Aside from two things: janitors should have check the room.
roommate A has left a note to roommate B to lock his cabinet since he was already on the way back home and forgot to do it.
A didn't realize that if B could have left the note there before he leaves, saying that he forgot, B could have just locked it himself?

@Mr_Detective

You really live up to your username. hehe
Apologies. I meant the note as a text.
Unfortunately, the cleaners aren't allowed inside the rooms. They only access the study area outside, the common CR and the laundry area. Dormers clean their own room.

EDIT: deleted some info. 😅

You probably misunderstood. While my explanation did seem one sided, that's because she never opened up to anyone therefore no one really knew what her side was. She never tried telling us even though some dared to ask. And yes, she was defended usually by the same people who were with her for some time (not really as friends, but they've been classmates for years) publicly. She was openly teased and bullied and though teachers usually stopped it, there are some occasions where they just... don't give a fuck.

One of the teachers were greatly disappointed at how she was acting and in that subject she was usually bullied by a few boys.

If you're saying I tried to be nice to her, no, I was perfectly neutral until the point she took photos which was a major turn off (as anyone would think the same). I wasn't salty about her liking my boyfriend either. She's free to like anyone she wants.

Well, I don't know about your understanding of things, but she's still at it. She does have friends from what I know, but I think (?) they're from another section. I heard her VOICE for the first time my second year with her, the second time was when she was with those people waiting in line at the canteen.

The people I'm friends with has been with her for what? Six to seven years. I've known her for two, and you don't. It's safe to assume she has mental issues and social anxiety, or just matured too late. We just don't know why it took her forever to do so.

The only real mystery I can think of is how/why my school managed to employ so many pedophiles.

no, i think i understood. I know, i don't know her, but I tried to understand her reasons and i thought about what made her act like that.
My goal was to make you empathize with her and see another angle. I'm not defending her for what she did, someone should have just took her phone and reported her. My point was that she was already gone when she got in your class and everyone knew already stories about her, so the situation could only get worse. Because that's how it works, surroundings and environments, more so when you are growing up, are really important.

Kids who never talk spend their time trash-talking their classmates in their head.
I know it because in 11 years of school, none of my classmates ever heard the sound of my voice.
Another good example is WataMote.

The only "mystery" we had, was why teachers that hated both kids and teaching would ever want to work at a school lmao.

This is actually not in my school but a friend of mine's.
WARNING:
This relates to child birth. But it's kinda scary.

So one fine day in this public (government) school, a girl goes to the bathroom to find a baby.
A whole baby, covered in blood( it was alive though).
Turned out a girl at that school gave birth in that stall and didn't even know she was pregnant!
She was so scared she left the baby there.

Seriously, sex education is a must and everyone should know the consequences of making wrong decisions.

I remember Urban Legends like that. My sister always was (still is) terrified of childbirth, so I used to torment her with stories about women giving birth on the toilet, while cycling (!) or after getting a big fright.

That's interesting. Why didn't I see the thread any earlier. Well, first of all, nobody really told me any scary stories as a child because I tended to have nightmares for weeks on end. But there were a lot of rumors here and there and also a curious situation I experienced myself.

When I was in fifth grade (in many parts of Germany you start "Middle School" in fifth grade, though the school system differs even more from that in US or Japan), there was a rumor that the potato puree served in the cafeteria in truth consisted of the chewn but unswallowed or even digested remains of boinled potatoes fed to the elderly in the old people's home just down the opposite road. Gross rumor, I know, but the potato puree was really an unpalatable gloop made from potato powder, though the food generally was delicious, for cafeteria standards at least.

When I was in sixth grade, I once had to go to the toilet during lessons and when I was in the stall I heard somebody violently throwing a person inside the stall next to mine. I hastily exited the stall, even more hastily washed my hands (clean freak that I was) and hastily left the boy's toilet as quick as I could, being physically disabled. I was already some steps away from the toilets when a boy stepped outside, snarled at me and clawed in my direction. I did wait no longer and entered the building as fast as I could, never looking back. (The toilets were only accessible from outdoors.) For weeks to come I was tormented by nightmares and insecurity, firmly believing a werewolf was out to get me, for I had more imagination than most children. Today I doubt there was anything supernatural involved but I will never now what it really was.

When I was a university student working on my bachelor's thesis, there was the legend of der ewige Student, i.e. the eternal student, found in the humanities buildings, though I only heard it from xth hand since I was a biology student and thus frequented the sience buildings rather than the humanities ones. The eternal student is a PhD student who is writing PhD thesis for decades already. Always when he believes to be done with it there are new papers published again which he has to cite in his thesis. The eternal student of legend spends his times in the cement catacombs of the university (where bats are known to dwell at least) ever since he gave up his flat, rarely seen in the morning like a white shadow when he goes out to buy food or to shower in the staff showers. All his belongings are said to be deposited in a library locker which has never be seen open. On a different note, there was such an eternal student in real life at another university who wrote at his PhD thesis for over two decades. My master's thesis advisor inherited him together with the university department and by now said advisor has retired but I haven't heard that he ever had seen the finished thesis.

At the university where I wrote my master's thesis, there was the rumor that the architect of the still relatively young university committed suicide after being unable to find a toilet in the buildings he designed, though I also heard he still was very much alive when I studied there. But somewhat true it is, on every floor the relative location for the male and female toilet changes, sometimes only one of them is found.
