Wait, this is 4v4 format? If Souta also lost here while Shiori and Eiji wins, how do they determine the winner??

Honestly this kind my only problem with Yu-gi-oh anti fun decks like yes Shota is playing ftk deck but a deck that just stops opponent from playing making the other feel miserable is something I don’t like as someone who ran pure Gouki when everyone doing u links with.

Like I do hope the mindset of only trying to win is called out as a bit toxic like not bashing the decks but like just playing deck to win vs liking it. As I can see Strong playing a full meta deck that goal is to just make it so your oppenent does nothing instead of any back and forth we’ve been seeing from duels. Yes the duels been short 2-4 turns but least you can see the fun the characters are having trying to break boards and when to use pieces versus you just not get play.

Yikes. Is there no room for a counterattack from Hyakkumen?
With his hand empty, the grave is his sole source of hope, cause, the three Mitsurugis should have enough ATK to finish Hyakkumen off on the next turn, right?

Pretty predictable and boring do far. The 2 cool duelists (MC and the cosplay guy) lose, then the girl and the weirdo club president get to carry again.

I mean, he already lost when he failed to FTK

Gimmick Puppet, true to their name, has 0 grind game or comeback plan. Much less against god damn Mitsurugi lol, and the other guy is playing Pure Mitsu, which is like, not even the most bullshit version of Mitsu lol.

The manga really make it looks extra flashy but if we look at what Kuroda did on Hyakuman's turn.

Negate 1 card, Hyakumen dodge by discard 1 card, Cattle Scream which is already a dead card in hand, so it's neg 0.

Tribute Murakumo to add another Habakiri to hand (do nothing)

Futsu reborn a Habakiri, which again did nothing as Hyakuman doesn't look to direct attack

Murakumo come back and board wipe <- real interrupt

Purrification to stop Rouge Doll <- 2nd interrupt (add another mitsu, useless)

Finally Impulse the fiendish knight and destroy it <- 3rd interrupt. And now Kuroda is ran out of thing to do outside of crossout call something

TLDR: Kuroda only has 3 interrupts, with one of it being a board wipe. If Hyakuman's deck was built better, something like 1 Cattle instead of 2, don't run god damn Pathfinder (Seriously, what the heck lol), and load in more power spell, forbidden droplet/triple tact talent etc etc etc. He could have easily pushed through 3 interrupts.
