I really do appreciate how this manga duels try to keep the over the top feel of the anime while being closer to real life. It's not exactly the same since the stakes aren't remotely as high, but it's definitely still thoroughly entertaining. It definitely helps that the characters are likable and really get into the duels, no matter how silly it looks from the outside.

I think about this in duel links as well but the Uni xyz only having a negate on your main phase or their battle phase is fairly inconvenient. If he was able to negate during his own battle phase, he would have won from negating the trap >_<

Against Nouvelez, it's hard to otk with Gunkan, you can ended up being tributed instead

Yeah I really like the main cast simple but likable enough to carry the duels.

Wish we had gotten to see strongs full match but the meal match has been more entertaining
