Oh, hey, we just got an event featuring genex as one of the loaner in master duel, so I can actually follow through the combo this time
It's kinda funny how refreshingly simple they are, there's the normal summon bunch which form a cycle of search going like, lvl 1 > search lvl 3 > search lvl 2 > search lvl 4 > search lvl 1
and then the rest is filled with anti-handtrap to let the genex repair resolves at all cost lol

And my game usually also goes similar to this chapter
Managed to have 3 disruptions on board, and opponent just pushes through it or just droplet/drnm it away lmao

Why are you saying this like it's past tense? I'm still making fun of Genex. If strong had drawn pretty much any handtrap, Shoma's turn ended on the spot lol. I've never actually seen Controller resolve until now.

You should be able to end on more than 3 disruptions usually, as Genex Return Zero is a negate per attribute your opponent uses, so against something like Dracotail, it's 4 or 5 disruptions on its own, and you should be able to get a Trishula hand rip, but frankly, it's a shockingly hard deck to squeeze interaction out of just because you have to manage your zones in a really awkward way, use your EMZ in somewhat unintuitive ways, and manage your resource loop without accidentally filling your zones with 4 non-tuners, which was maybe my most embarrassing loss in the solo mode ever.

magical christmas combo land is circle of fire king is in his hand + Shouma still has 1 fire monster in his gy

the line goes

new garu pop kirin -> kirin res avar and pop baronne -> circle to pop avar special summon ponix and avar des effect special summon kirin.

Your board now has 3 monster, Garu + Ponix + kirin. your opp got 3 monsters

link 1 to linkuriboh + kirin to fire charmer or just link 2 pon + kirin to fire charmer -> res a fire genex -> link princess -> res arvarta -> salad raging phoenix -> zealantis

zealantis's effect, your opp special summon trigger princess -> pop Garu pop return arm zero -> trigger raging phoenix special summon (5500 atk)

now go into attack, princess co link with zealantis trigger another pop, pop dragster.

2700 + 2500 + 5500 - 1200 (repair genex) = dead Shouma.
