They gave her a good personality for a deck that responds to everything with another summon.
I want to see her go against one of those players who asks "response?" after every move.

Anyway, this manga's at its best when at most 1 person is on a wombo combo strategy. Bystial Centur-ion would have been less annoying to follow along with but I get why they gave her such a deck to match her personality, and if you want to advertise the game to people who find that type of playstyle fun, you gotta include at least a little representation.

Maybe the real problem is pairing her against pendslop. I think I get the angle of both characters wanting to be the stars of the show, thus causing a character conflict to give the duel substance beyond just "hey look at these cards" but I don't think they needed a Yuya cosplay for that to be the case. Then again, when I think of other characters for him to cosplay as who lean into the entertainment aspect, I just think of Vrains characters, which would be just as bad. Too bad Kuroda's not on this team, he hams it up without having to play combo. Oh well, we're going to have a few chapters where it's a bit of a headache, we'll just deal with it.

Pendslop is fun when you aren't the one playing against it. It isn't good because all of their good endboard pieces like Baronne, Appo, Borreload, and Dweller all got banned and can't play through Droll to save its life, but back at its prime when going uninterrupted meant a board of all those above guys + Absolute and the Zarc trap, that deck was miserable to play against. Nowadays though, most of my games against Pend tend to go "reveal Hollie Sue" into my opponent surrendering.

Never thought I'd see the day where Pendslop... almost breaks through a board. Then again, she definitely did something wrong to not end on Auxilla in Centurion... or I guess. Centurion White Forest with Crystrons for some reason.

Also, I can't believe my boy got hit by the classic... losing because you didn't read a Centurion protection effect. Everybody has had at least one game where they tried to Ghost Ogre the field spell with Auxilla up or attempted to duster the back row and realize in horror that they basically handripped themself for one.

She's gonna love the current format. VSK9, Dracotail, Killer Tune, and Elfnotes all smacking you during your turn using their in archetype handtraps.
