The power of friendship wins once again! I really love this spin on the "my other self" trope, usually they're pretty much two different people but here the only difference is their personality. They still have the same interests, morals, etc. No matter how much you change, your old/other self is still there (Yami Yugi was still upset by the fake Jounouchi despite him shifting the blame to normal Yugi) and I think that's an important lesson

I'm like 80% sure that was the point though, I just wanted to yap lol
