I think it's clearly a breakup because Miss Ji let go of her due to fear of being outted as gay, and now she comes back crawling so Jing has more than reason to not trust her

Lmaooo idk why, you're right that it's a whole lotta nothing, I guess my tolerance and patience for ts has grown, and I'm just an outsider looking in fondly on these goobers and them wallowing in frustration and regret for each other. It is objectively kinda shit tho, so guilty pleasure i guess?
To add, I think I wouldve been frustrated if the plot was the beginning of their relationship, getting good, then it all going down the drain. Maybe bcus this plot is from that rock bottom, it can only go up...?

I've never read Samameki Koto so I'm not sure. ShuuKura is both very intense but also extremely wishy-washy. I think you'll either love it or hate it with a passion lol
