Where Yugami simply doesn't relent on what he thinks on Chihiro's matters, Chihiro consciously ends up conceding and giving up instead, with "I'll deal with him like this" (to stop the argument, she tries to half-heartedly mirror Yugami's sentiments instead).

It's funny how it shows the difference in social tact between them LMAO. She practically told a white lie for a bit, which ends up making Yugami still worked up because he thinks the other extreme of conclusions isn't true either.

I mean, yeah I do feel like there's no need to go too deep into negativity. I can admit that I find her slightly annoying especially in earlier chapters, but 1. as someone else has said it's probably still a bit reasonably realistic (not "comically villainous" since her motivations are even understood by Waka), so it's fine.

and 2. even if you don't like her as a character you can just try to ignore thinking about her too much lol... I still think it's better to focus on the good parts of something you like rather than the ones you don't like..

this manga in general really shines better in the later parts. It's in all aspects, not just the art, but characterization and writing too imo!
