I wish I was bettet at extracting meaning from these metaphorical segments, but when there's so many, they seem almost layered, and you can't always tell when the real part stops and the metaphor begins, it's just overwhelming, not in a good way.

Ayo what just happened? Where is that genius who could explain this.

My theory is that this is probably a story about a couple being seperated by the boy moving out to go to college, he doesn't want to leave her, and doesn't know really how to live without her, but can't articulate that because he feels intimidated by and jealous of her new friends she's made at her new school. The couple makes a bucket list of stuff to do before he moves (dye his hair, go scuba diving, go to that movie, etc.). I also think that this is mostly from the perspective of the girl, because all the characters with actual faces are people she knows (excluding the flight attendant). The day that he moves out, she rebounds with another guy, and hana no longer needs yuichi, and stops caring about him, symbolized by him dying on his flight. This is all conjecture btw so feel free to have your own theories.
