People deciding that they like her doesn't give them any right or ownership over her time and the principal reinforcing that, even if she backs off to "just the top ranking clubs" is gross.
No one suddenly gains responsibility to others just for existing and being themselves. The fact that she already has done so much to help people out should mean that people would put even less pressure on her to do anything, not set the expectation of her doing more and giving up her own free time.
