She was mentioned. Didn't appear though. A very brief interaction that seemed to suggest some history but it never went anywhere and wasn't ever mentioned again. She was never quoted as an ex or anything, just a friend or acquaintance who wanted an update on how our girl was doing now that she was in high school. Super easy to forget or miss.

A couple ways! If you are on (a new enough version of) android, when you take a screenshot, there is an option to put it through Google Lens, which scans the QR code. Otherwise, there are approximately a trillion websites that turn an image of a QR code into a link
