Pretty good story. When you're already that close from the beginning, you'd expect the time it takes for them to start dating will be short. Thankfully, it is. You don't have to worry about any stalling or whatever. I think that the pacing is on point. Not too fast to where I don't know what the fuck is going on, and not too slow where I'm getting bored out of my goddamn mind.
It's a very... normal manga. I wouldn't say that it's really a bad thing though, I think the fact that it's so normal works well in this case. There's no overwhelming drama or crazy shit that goes on, just a focus on the relationship and how it develops over time.
Now, what I will say is that the worst thing about it is that it's a little boring. The comedy doesn't really get there, nor what they do is particularly interesting or unique. They go on a karaoke date and a beach date, and it's not like there's much that happens either. That's the bad side about being such a normal manga with normal characters.
Speaking of the characters, imo they're kind of bland. I think that they're lacking a bit in personality, because I feel like I can just describe them in a couple of words. I wouldn't say that they're BAD characters though, don't get me wrong. They can most definitely develop more after I posted this comment.
It's kind of a 50/50 whether I would recommend this or not. It's very good, but it doesn't really do anything unique. Well, just try it for yourself.
