Thank you for the update!!!
Soooooo Lady Hattice's first-born is NOT her husbands child while Haseki Hurrem's first child is not her husbands kid either (a.k.a: Ibrahim's first-born is actually not from his wife but from the queen)??!!???!! This is more complicated/tragic/convoluted than a telenovela and
not factual since I think there is no mention Hurrem and Ibrahim having ever been intimate- rather they hated each other. Probably the mangaka took creative license in shaping this story and would eventually show us an Ibrahim-Hurrem fight on the issue of who will be the next crown prince (THAT issue did crop up in actual history)
Still, this story is a more realistic take on royals since the queen and king don't spend much time together (I mean he has a kingdom to run and expand) and their emotions for each other are more practical and tepid rather than the alpha male-pretty princess-you are mine and I am jelly if anyone even looks at you- pairing seen in most comics about Royalty.
On another note- I loved Phoenix Nirvana- it is being translated on webcomics and is another royal-themed story I love!!!
Another beautiful chapter 😍
I do see the cruelty with Hurrem's choice of banishment, it may have been more merciful to deliver a death sentence
But it's amazing what a brilliant mind Hurrem has, maintaining an illusion of kindness all the while knowing what kind of fate awaits someone who is banished from the palace
