He is talking about only letting a rightfull heir succeed. But in what way does he even deserve to make such a decision? Is he the sultan? If he really was devoted to suleiman he would already have confessed his crimes. He doesn't even deserve to serve him.

kinda surprised how this chapter was about military conquest. It was interesting to see the other perspective of the two main male characters of the story.

I like how the story isn't entirely focused around their love for the female mc (like the mangaka's previous work, Red River) and how they have their own ambitions. But I definitely miss the politics and tension of the harem, excited to see the conflicts surrounding the rightful heir!

It's nice how this whole war and conquest stuff puts emphasis on how little they saw each other in reality. You don't rule an empire while sensually eating grapes in the harem all day long.
