Yes and no, agnis scan has 0 communication abilities and that is why this is happening. I basically deleted the other 3 chapters because they are going to do them regardless. Though I clearly stated that agnis was most likely going to keep doing the work but eh, whatever.

Were you the one who did the chapters 18-20?

First of all, I'm so sorry about all the harrassment that you had to go through, you were doing a great job and got treated badly for that.

Also, as much as I can understand your anger, you really shouldn't have deleted the chapters, even if Agni was going to do them too: it helps people have an alternative for when some scanlations have "issues", or at the very least lets them have something to compare and uphold the other scanlations too.

I say this because I just checked the translations that Agni just did of chapter 18 and I simply couldn't take it anymore; nevermind bad translations, they were openly changing the dialogue and meaning, even deleting certain parts of the original text. Your translation was miles better than what they did and I'm afraid that people that didn't get to read your version will end up missing on a lot of content that they cut.

I may be exaggerating, but just look at how they "translated" the flashback from when Ashida talked to the MC about his promise about eating together (they didn't translate her mentioning the promise and it ended up looking like he got scared from a normal question).

It is unfortunate that this was dropped by the earlier TL, he/she was doing a great job but I understand why he/she wants to get out of the toxicity of things happening.
Your work is really good and I am not saying this relatively (not just because there is another group which uses MTL without proper proof-reading), please keep up the good work and wishing you the best.
