I'm glad he didn't blame her. The class is also very interestingly lively and fun, coming up with nicknames and having personalities of their own. The visual gags here are great.
I also love how there was the cheeky bad girl there to be like "oh, looks like you got fooled, huh? How sad~~" but she didn't do her line cause he was already basically dead from shock.
I actually like this more than To love ru. I like this MC more than Rito, he feel more refreshed.
Well, Rito didn't have much of a character other than "nice, dependable, and not sexually forward," because he was supposed to be a stand in for the audience and you were supposed to be able to easily slip into his role. This guy is an actual character, and is the butt of the jokes in the series. That tends to make for likable guys.
