@MesaOracle There are some that do a good job of making fun of it, but I think One Punch does it best without getting stale quickly. This arc was okay, but I'd like to get back to the comedy/romance for another 50 chapters or something lol. Plus, nothing can be as ridiculous as DBZ/Super/etc. can be, just watch, it'll do the equivalent of that "Hold my beer" meme soon.

This arc would have been just fine if it wasn't directly after the entire battle arc with his Sensei. We needed some breather chapters in-between the two arcs.

@MesaOracle poking fun was when kogarashi was narrating his previous adventure and fight with garandou as something that didn't really had much impact later on, those chapters were makin fun of shounen shenanigans but the current arc I'm not entirely sure if the author is serious anymore or not

It's one arc for crying out loud. Shonen Jump, in which this is published, also publishes Dragonball which just happens to have a movie release coming soon to make Brolly a cannon character. Get with it people. the authors are just having fun with a colleague. It will go back to raunchy boob jokes and heavy petting in short order. There was even a muff dive in this chapter.
