We all know that in the recent chapters, Sagiri was kinda left out, especially since the majority of the women around MC admitted that they a.) Like him in a romantic way or b.) Admire his abilities.

Even if, and if the author/mangaka planned this from the start, considering what have happened before this, i.e. Yuuna's backstory reveal, isn't it too much of a try hard move to force this?

I feel like this is just one big plan to get Sagiri with Kogarashi set up by the grandma. I feel like this is to make up for Sagiri being shown up by everyone else in therms of strength by the narrative.

I fucking hate these cliche fiance characters who are always over-the-top edgy woman beaters and rapists because God forgive the girl gets hooked up with a nice guy and the author is forced to have them break up for proper reasons instead of having MC just punch the guy in the face.

And forget about Kogarashi punching the guy next chapter, that would end this arc too quickly. Sagiri is going to waste two chapters fighting hil so she can realize she is actually strong and useful or whatever the fuck her issue in this arc is.

This is pretty much how to not write stories.
Next thing will probably be that he either mind controls or blackmails Sagiris family and all that stuff so that he can be beaten up and banished into oblivion without any repercussions for the protagonsits.
Quite frankly, I do not feel like the autor is respecting his audience at the moment.

it's not kogarashi that will save the day. but the drunk oni-nee/milf will make the shit out of him. then the plot shit will turn that it's because of oni-neesan that he is like dat kind of bullcrap shit stick.

Ah, the cliched bastard fiance that needs a beating! The only thing that seemed to deviate a bit from the norm was that he was already being (cheerfully) disturbing and creepy before he started being aggressive. After his words in the car, Sagiri should have already said "nope, a thousand times nope". Kogarashi tried to be polite, but him being okay with political marriage "because mission" is also... Ugh.

Can't believe I'm saying this, but Hibari was definitely the most sensible person in the whole chapter. She was the only one to state that marrying for politics because a "mission" says so is a bad idea per se, regardless the fiance's (still unknown) personal qualities or whether Sagiri may live happily or not in the future with that arrangement.
