Even though I usually turned of my brain when reading ecchi stuff and ignored whatever story detail, this arc is just outright awful, and just stupid, what is the author trying to accomplish with this ?

It's simple it happened in to love ru darkness. You can literally only get so far with ecchi alone before I believe IDK how exactly it works over in Japan but you need a story period. No matter how silly or goofy it is a manga needs a story even an ecchi one like this.

In to Love ru darkness we used to get nothing but ecchi chapters constantly which added nothing to the story but then after a while the author went back to the story very abruptly. I think that's what's occurring here in Yuuna-san. Ecchi only gets so far so now the authory has to combine the ecchi and a story together which while incredibly terrible is necessary in order to stretch the length of the manga more.

Without a story the manga is essentially just little indepedent ecchi chapters.

@tajboy123 , perhaps, but the author-san seems to drag it a bit too much, longer than necessary, unless, he plan to set up pre-requisite for deeper storyline on later chapters. It may manage, otherwise this shit will be dead before author completed his set-up. I already can't remember what this manga was about since i've been shoved with ecchi stuff for so long with barely any storyline... so author-san trying to add deep storyline will just (1)makes me confused and feelin unpleasant"damn, where's my weekly dose of onsen ecchis" (2)or unlikely, makes me more interested (if he managed to pull something mindblowing).

Yatahagane-kun was kinda one-punch man before, and now we have powercreeping with new abilities n shits , strange barrier, reverse spirit armor so i assume author-san trying to get into shonen battle trope (which tbh i wish he were to be more subtle about the battles-battlepower-and everything that comes with it).

Well, I'll still read this tho, no matter what happen.

knew it this shit author will try to make nadare look good in future chapters with some twist in the story and here it is. fuck that shit this arc is aweful and manga should have finished a long time ago with garandou arc way back after that it only went down and is now diving straight into an abyss.

I'm totally fine with these semi-ecchi battle arcs. Yeah, they could use a bit more prior explanation as they weren't very well planned out, but they're a thousand times better than just a pointless string of clichéd "crash into tiddies" filler chapters. There was enough of that cancer earlier on in the comic. It is definitely better now.

Yet it is kinda funny seeing so many comments complaining that it isn't all just mindless accident-of-the-day trash-ecchi any more.


... Anyway... can we discuss page 16? ... And how the tengu girl's pubic mound is so massively enlarged that it is visibly sticking out halfway up her buttcrack? It looks like she could take two fists in that hole of hers and not even wince.
