No, Jang Gun has been in control the whole time until now when Overlayer took over. My read on the situation is that Yureka considers Overlayer to be the 'real' Roto now, ever since Jang Gun basically turned the 'character Roto' into an AI.

So when Overlayer appeared at the end of the chapter, Yureka recognises 'Roto' even though it is actually Overlayer. Does that make sense?

But that's just my guess though. I haven't read any further yet, hopefully it'll be clarified in subsequent chapters. Sorry if the translation has been confusing, I'm trying my best to decipher everything from machine translations, so it's possible some meaning or nuance may get lost in the process.

I mean, Yureka doesn't know the real life Jang Gun after all. She has only known the 'character Roto' that Jang Gun plays. They created an AI out of that existing character Roto, with all of Roto's memories and personality, and installed it into Roto's body, even using Roto's own game card for it. Overlayer also seems to basically own the body, I believe he said as such during the auction; the only reason Jang Gun was able to take control back from him was because Aradon more or less broke his mind and caused him to go dormant. So, as the owner of the body, with all Roto's memories and personality, I think it makes sense that Yureka would see AI Roto / Overlayer as as the real one. This is all just my own speculation though, haha.
