The way I see it, yes, she's too overreacting, but I guess, what makes her hate is that the fact her best friend choose the other side(?) Although the whole basis is weak, forced, and stupid, I can understand the hate of a stuck up student (in their eyes)

I think it captures the feeling of getting carried away when experimenting with a classmate when you were young and all the confused feelings that come with it, and it's going the "happy end" route it seems. ikr, i don't think she'd be THAT mad just because of the phone. i'm pretty sure her anger implies that she likes mao and she saw mao with reina. idk why anybody can think she's that petty over her phone.
