Given the size of the full blade and that the handle itself is made of the same metal, that piece she broke off probably contains more metal than people think. Besides, she’ll be carrying that thing around just about everywhere for possibly years to come, and she can only carry so much before it starts negatively affecting her body long term. If she was able to figure out how to snap and reforge it, she’s probably calculated how much she needs vs how much she could actually carry for an extended period of time.

While the main reason for snapping the sword was for practical purposes, I love how part of her seems to enjoy taking the piss out of the Heroes’ Legend. She has none of the Heroes’ inhuman strength, yet she snapped the “unbreakable” Holy Sword in two. She must be loving the irony. But perhaps that’s the kind of Hero the world needs to break the cycle. If the other Heroes performed to the expectations set by the Legend but still “failed” in the Goddess’ words, then an unconventional Hero like Lisa who relies on her smarts instead of just brute strength might just find a permanent solution through those same unconventional methods.

Honestly the story feels rough at times but maybe it's because the character is 150 years old that I feel the that way, this feels inbetween Roll over and die LN and the other one about "kettle pot" manga that i once read a long time ago.

All in all yuri, so hoping it becomes an extremely long series.

After a shocking and hardcore first chapter, the story is now more "normal" in a good way, like taking a deep breath and finally relaxing... For the time being, I have the feel that one of the boys is going to die at some point.

Something that I was thinking is that despite being 150+ years old, it's not like Lisa had a lot of stimulation in that time period.
She didn't have people to talk about so she didn't have a chance to develop socially, she didn't have books to read so she couldn't acquire more knowledge, she couldn't go places because it was a blank pocket dimension, etc, not a lot of stimulation other than raw training.

The only thing she had was essentially her own mind and the few things she knew in her first life, so yeah she lived a lot and could come up with some tricks like the magic combo to split the sword, and now she has this theory about the dragons still existing, they're all things that you could eventually theorize with enough time but she still isn't truly like one of those "150 years old vampires that saw everything that the world has to offer" in some fiction works, her life experience is still roughly the same.

However it's missing some of the dedraws and it was pushed to the side because of the android yuri releasing another chapter... hopefully we will be able to release them soon!~

this scene remind me when Himmel can't pull the hero sword.
yet he defeat the demon king with fake sword.

maybe the reason she not cut lower
because full piece of sword is too powerfull to handle ( she can't hold it).
that's why she need reforge it to make her own sword.

I'm definitely expecting there to be more to Elizabeths hero nature than it seems. The great sage saying "She is not the one", Clifton saying the Demon king should appear before the hero and then coupled with Elizabeths seeming lack of holy blessing. Too early to say if she is actually the demon or some kind of fake/antihero after the goddess gave up on humanity but definitely something sus going on.
