Holy shit, is that a mother fucking OG Higurashi reference on page 15?? Usually they just reference the face Rena makes in the anime, I haven't seen a manga do the OG Rena sprite with mitten hands justice! This has gotta be my favorite reference ever.

I fucking love this manga, no matter how cliched it is it carries itself with so much energy in all the drawings that it's just lovable.

I feel like there's a difference between "being cliched" and using them as set dressing. None (or at least most) of the clichés are actually what this series is about, really, it's just using them to play around with. =)
