I love how they're still getting to know and awkward with each other this many chapters in, love me a good slow burn story that takes its time to develop their relationship

Liked that bit where the hero is trying to get her name, that little bit of snark really gives her personality.

I have jump into this manga after having binged all 3 LN volumes (really liked it and in my craving for more only then that I found out this series has a manga). So, here are some thoughts:
Overall, this manga is a huge let down.
First there is the horrendous art style that looks so stiff and uncanny, as someone has mentioned in earlier chapters, feels like the artist just draw over some 3D models and that's it. That said, starting from chapter 4 I think, the art improved a lot, so this should not be a problem anymore.
Secondly, manga atmosphere is way too solemn. The LN has a more comedic tone to it since Alicia's personality is more like a grumpy gremlin who's pissed off at everything and anything, and like, swears every 3 seconds. Granted, these sharp-tongued, sassy remarks and curses are just her monologue, outwardly she still has to maintain a prim-and-proper facade fitting of a bride of the Gods. So when a majority of that monologue got stripped off in the manga, I guess it will seem more overly serious, but it's a shame Alicia doesn't appear to be nearly as foul-mouthed as in the LN.
For some analogy to "The executioner and her way of life", I would said LN Alicia is very much like Momo, while her manga version is more like Menou.
Third, not exactly an issue but more like it's strange, that the manga seems to derail from the LN more than I thought? The scenes of Alicia's previous mission before receiving order of Hero assassination is still appropriate change to feature her line of work without too much words (the LN starts right when she complained about the unreasonable mission of Hero assassination). But then her first encounter with the Hero is also different (Cion should not have known about Alicia's combat ability yet until quite later on), then there is that merchant Ali who does not exist in the LN, and then at this point they still haven't reached the border city yet? (whereas in LN that should have been where these 2 first met)
I'm quite torn here, not sure if I should keep on reading to see where the manga is heading, or back off for how my favorite sharp-tongued Alicia is just not here.
