If you can't figure out why snipes are a bad thing for everybody by applying even the most basic amount of logical thinking to the situation, then I have to assume you're not capable of it. Also, go read the first post here my guy they were only one month late.

I'm getting this deja vu like this isn't the first time this has happened, where a sniper snipes this series with the original scanlation group suddenly following up and releasing theirs in mere minutes to an hour.

Stretching yourselves too thin is obviously not good, so I think it's a good idea to make some sacrifices here and there, it sounds like the translator is overworked. However I abide by the 3-months rule and I guess the sniper added a 2 month manga hiatus and a 1 month down period as a total of 3 months?

I'm just happy I get to read scanlated chapters tbh

I'd like to point out to you that the snipers started posting second, so you're completely wrong from the start. They posted c21 15 minutes after these guys, so it's just poor timing.

We will not be dropping this series. Some people are just impatient and then like to try and steer a narrative to make them look better.
Yes we were a month late on the last chapter, but when our translator, works in the translation field, doing 30+ pages a day of over 3000 words a day. it makes it hard to continue after he gets off work. But due to circumstances, we will be dropping things to get this done each time a chapter drops.
As it goes, being 1 month late is normally not grounds to have another group take over. It was not our fault the manga was on a 2 month hiatus. So no matter what they say, we will continue.
and as far as their solution was to colab, we felt it was in our best interest to not accept. We have a quality standard that we adhere to.

There is no war on that series. Tonikaku was chapters and 3 months behind. Church of potetto was asked to take over by the Discord. the other group didn't like it, kicked the guy who was in charge of it and slacking. and then decided to start again. CoP is not waring with them, they don't care enough.

There has been several scan wars over One Piece over the years. The only reason that the most recent one ended is because 1 of the groups got shut down by the government. The readers either choose whichever comes out first or they wait for the TL that is considered the "quality" one. I really don't see the problem of snipers tbh. I see why the scanlation teams hate it. I don't understand why some readers care... at all.

Thanks for speaking truth in the situation. 90% of Readers don't care who does the translation. And quite frankly if these people needed 2 paragraphs to spin a narrative about TL overwork while insulting people about "patience". Then it sounds like they need to let it go or do a better job communicating. You don't blame the reader when 'you' are a month late. Discourteous as hell when no one is obligated to read your translations.
