So far thr additions at least had a few chapters to build some form of connection, but now its adding girls with clear dislike for him its somewhat starting to make the original 4 appear less and less significant by him just accepting everyone

And the other one doesn't really care about him as a person she is just in for the dragon power

IIRC he actually liked Marianne but in order to get her he had too accept the other 2 so that there wasn't a power imbalance between the empires. So he didn't really have a choice unless he turned down Marianne too

I'd already said before that I'd hoped it would just be the original 4. Now, though, these two new ones feel like they're really bringing down the story. They have decent personalities, but having them forced on our MC now makes accommodating them feel like a chore. I mean that literally, as we see the MC having to brainstorm how to comfortably help them adjust into the harem, and he didn't even know or ask for them.
