Did a quick browse through of the webnovel, a few comments on the pacing and plot:

The WN is still ongoing, but the story climax has passed and is now in post-conflict reorganising. There will be very major lore reveals about the demon king's origins and how he's part of the fantasy world, and what really happened to the previous summoned heroes (ex. the humans just lazily assumed the hero sacrificed themselves to defeat the demon king). And interestingly, the human priest is surprisingly not made out as the typical ultimate villain as things go along; just a overzealous religious fellow who believed too much in the greater good but is pretty decent otherwise. The villain honour goes to the human king, who is mainly driven by his own arrogance and rashness to safeguard his legacy against the perceived demon invasion at all costs.
