I was expecting some trapper traps sh*t but but he's just another mage now, but props to the author for the ideas tho, but if he can use fire that strong then he's not weak at all, he's just stupid as a trapmaster.

I think everyone already said this but this is just stupid. He's no trapper anymore but a mage. The way he fighting requires zero creativity or planning like trappers but just brute force through his Dues Ex Machina skill. If anyone wants to read another trapper manga, try Wicked Trapper: Hunter of Heroes. The story is too edgy and it's just yet another borderlines hentai but at least the MC fights like a real trapper. It got axed with the unsatisfied ending though. Just be warned.

Trap fusion is interesting it wasn't really setup that he couldn't do it before hand. Though at the same time he's not activating these traps in any capacity. They just immediately activate because two traps touched which is more akin to a mage rather than a trap master. I say that but then he also stacks two Arrow traps that don't immediately activate and instead fuse? That technically makes sense in that different traps only activate each other.

It really feels like the girl from the last chapter just gave him the power to think with more than 2 brain cells rather than unlocking any class ability.

Well, there's the "I Got a New Skill Every Time I was Exiled, and After 100 Different Worlds, I was Unmatched" don't be intimidated by the title, it's one of the best isekai fantasy I read, given there's only 23 chap right now, it's already proven itself. Be warned tho, it's very slow to update.

The trap arrow isn't even moving his traps, and it never touches any monsters.
Suddenly he pulls out an ability called 'Trap Fusion' and acts like he never used it before even though it would be a key skill that he would constantly have used in his past experience.
Suddenly he figures out that he can indeed just use his 'traps' like regular-ass spells.
Suddenly he pulls out a sword and slashes goblins, then says he needs to bait them into traps, then contradicts that by remotely activating a slash+vector trap to create flying slashes to kill the goblins.
Suddenly he realizes that he can just throw daggers and use projectiles to fight too.
Suddenly he contradicts all his previous statements of needing the monsters to come into contact with his traps or needing to touch the monsters to use his traps and just starts firing magic.
Suddenly he's aura farming and somehow he'll start a trap master revolution even though it's only because he got a Vector trap gifted to him by some OP demon.

He's just a fucking mage now.

So, he can set traps instantly in the middle of battle, he can set them directly on a living target, he can create them in mid-air...
...WHY do people in this world consider this a bad class?
And why has he never practiced using it offensively?
Just put the Slash Trap directly on the target, or use it as a Counter-Shield!
This really feels like the author just wanted to give him an OP Class, and still have it called useless to make him feel like an underdog and justify getting him kicked out for being weak.
This makes no sense at all, him being weak is just a damn big Skill Issue, he had no need of an Unique Skill to shred through enemies with how this Class works.

However, any person with a brain would have thought about stacking traps the moment they got a damaging trap and a CC trap, you are telling me this dude never thought, "Damn, now that I have CC'd this monster sure would be nice if I could use the Fire Trap to burn them..."?

My understanding is that there aren't any CC traps other than this arrow one, at least as far as has been presented in the first two chapters.
