At this point I'm convinced, they'd rather show romance between two corpses, than the actual mc and that personalityless fl, their romance really fell flat in my eyes.. in the beginning you could still root for it somewhat, but it was so unnecessarily drawn out by obscure plot and then just brushed off by them randomly getting together, but then just ghost their relationship entirely the chapter after to focus on others again

your also missing the forest for the trees. no one ever said this was just about youki falling in love it was quickly apparent that this story is about love all its forms. from subordinates following their boss to actual romantic love

Some people just can't read the title. That kind of title instantly communicated to me that this entire story was going to have a load of cringe in it.
