Teal is a fun character because of how unreasonably devoted she is to a random gargoyle. I am glad the anime won't get this far because I don't want Teal's craziness to be horribly butchered. We didn't deserve such a terrible anime adaptation...

Damn good for you. Was the other way around for me, and once I started reading this.. felt like I was almost reading a whole 'nother story.

Like hell even the manga and anime of Maoyuu Maou Yuusha were two completely different adaptations of the same story.. but had far more consistency between the two than those of this series where the animated version was actually supposed to be directly based off of the manga.

Well, to be fair, we have to remember that he was their family's "guardian god" for generations. You can bet that if a small town's statue of Jesus suddenly came to life, they would have a zeal that would rival little Teal's.
