I admit that the little yandere maid and the kept-man groomer gargoyle are slightly entertaining. But I also think that this series should better wrap up soon. Everyone is paired up (except the mermaid), everyone's relationships seem sufficiently developed and explored. Just give it one more heartfelt moment for the main couple and call it a day.

if they already knew about the guardian deity in the gargoyle statue, why not just tell the villagers that youki created the demon spirit in the statue a physical body to where he can always be with Teal? pretty sure they would understand since he was always protecting her in the past anyways

personally I hate when a series like this gets the main couple together and then adhd's to the side characters, I want more actual moments between the main couple as a couple, why are these mangakas always so afraid to show the main characters being properly loveydovy and romantic with each other

we are halfway through the novel now so "soon" is a stretch because the novel source material hasnt even ended so..

No one did it worse than Horimiya. It was like 40 chapters of "wow. This is a great romcom!" Then the two got together and became side characters to the side characters for 80+ chapters with an occassional "Here's a couple story for the title characters."

At least with this one it's NEVER been about the main couple first.

yeah we are currently at 206/424 web novel chapters and the web novel is still ongoing so its going to be even more.. Im pretty sure it keeps dragging the slice of life out until the main 3 couples are married is what im guessing
