Teal is a lot of things, but given what we've just seen I'm not sure if "wholesome" is among them.

Meanwhile that ending gave me serious "calm before the storm" vibes. Having the end of the chapter be about how happy Cecilia is prime "I'm 2 days away from retirement and here's a picture of my kids, the oldest of whom is getting married tomorrow" red flag material.

Someone said it in an earlier comment, but I am likewise of the opinion that Cecilia is 100% intending to move in. We got a preview of her somewhat ditzier side when she took at face value the idea that the mage was pregnant and started listing off all the aid and support the poor girl would need, nearly killing her with embarrassment in the process.

She knows Youki is serious about her, she's serious about him... what reason does she have to not date with the intention of marriage? Plus, what better way to ward off insistent suitors than be moving in with her boyfriend?
