Lmao, the "sniper" started from chapter 8 which they uploaded some hours before GDS magically release their chapter, but they got deleted likely because of how bad it was, so you only see from chapter 9 here now and give you this totally wrong impression that they started from that, while the chapters are deleted, the discussions are still here

GDS had it dropped for so long that only "resumed" because someone "sniped" them, there is a 7-8 months gap from 7 to 8 my dude and raws for this are at 26, so it been a long ass time, free for anyone to pick this shit up but sadly was some garbage MTL that did it, if the translation was better probably we wouldn't have seen this much whining given how long it was since they did chapter 7, but with how GDS operate there would still be people crying about a "snipe"

(in reality GDS have all these chapters patreon locked, they're just as scummy as always when it come to them dropping series for months and then instantly releasing a chapter the moment someone pick one of their series, this isn't the first time they do it and won't be the last, they are pretty well known for that)

That's fair I guess. But still no update is better than shit TL with incomprehensible sentences imo. A group can always drop a series any time that's natural and of course others can pick it up which is also natural but they better keep the quality decent. They are all taking donations and ad money from their site after all same as GDS. I wouldn't go off on their ass if this wasn't profit driven.

Brother quality IS the point. If a TL can't even form a comprehensive sentence and still try to profit through ridiculous amount of ads on their own site and donations then they can suck ass.
I don't give a damn about GDS but if you seriously think those snipers are any better or any less scummy then you're on lethal doses of copium. What got me ticked off is you saying they are NoBLe and completely ignoring the fact that they also suck ass several magnitudes harder.
If they were to do a half decent job then I wouldn't go off on them. Anyone can snipe anything they want but if they are gonna run a google translation then I would rather not get an update at all.

I really hate snipers, and I don't care to read the pissing contest messages. I got better things to waste my time on.
The old MD prior to the big blowup have many groups earning my hate. Remembering all the names was more trouble than just blocking them. Small price to pay.

I try not to complain or diss folks, but please can someone with proper proofreading continue this? GDS is fine, though glacially slow (spread thin over many series?) But I just tried to read ahead with RD's releases and it is a mess that goes beyond confusing to make my head literally hurt...I

No translation team should sit on a chapter for 8 months for no good reason.

They are Patreon-driven for releasing translations. But when translations only appear after enough money is received, that means the translation group is treating the money as mandatory payments for translations instead of being voluntary donations from people reading the chapters. If the money was treated as donations, then translations would continue to appear whether or not enough donation money was being received. If the TL group regards the manga as a payment project, then translations that were already done would be withheld until enough payments were received to justify release of another chapter.
