The group has a habit of not releasing chapters for a while, sometimes months, then if someone tries to release a chapter independently they dump all the unreleased chapters at once. They have above average quality so nobody really "lose" anything, but it's not a great behaviour.

I see thank you for clearing that up , I can see how that would seem scummy.

Sophia and Caroline are cinnamon rolls and Orun is right to think he also has to provide them some mental support. That was a dark backstory for both of them.

I never would've expected Sophia and Selma to be just half-sisters, but that really puts into perspective Selma's (non-pervy) sister complex. She just wants to spoil her little sister with all the love she can offer, for good reason because Sophia suffered so much without having even done anything wrong.

Caroline was the slave of an evil cult, and by that statement alone we can infer that she has likely suffered through plenty of unspeakable horrors, only managing to survive because of her recovery superpower. Now that deep trauma might explain her reckless fighting style, but I hope someone can also tell her that by having such little regard for her own life she dishonors Albert's decision to save her.

I guess it's good that Rain can react quickly and make rapid decisions. That's an asset on the battlefield for sure, which does make her reliable in that regard; the bad thing is that she's also easy fooled. So Rain is afraid of ghosts and Lucresia is a mischievous prankster; they got fleshed out a little bit and I do like that.

I am very curious why does almost everyone reading the GDS hate them?, they are alot better the monkeys I am very new to this site and I was wondering why?. If they did something in the past I get it, However monkeys scans for a lack of a better term are complete garbage. So Like I said I am very curious

So, for future reference: Whatever it is the monkey is doing is an absolutely terrible point of comparison for scan quality. GDS has middling quality at best, but as others here have said it's their practices that have really landed them on people's shitlists. It'd be one thing if those practices were bolstered/compensated by high-quality scanlation work, but as I said it's middling at best.

GDS does quantity, and only just pass the bar on quality. If other options are available, those other options are usually (monkey not included) the better options in terms of quality.
tl;dr, GDS is a mediocre scan group with shitty release practices, and you just got unlucky here in that the main point of comparison is bottom of the barrel in terms of quality.
