Caught up after awhile. I think the biggest revelation so far was that Merlin thinks that Lloyd is actually really strong in a fight and can make his way around without even needing a party. This makes sense because yeah obviously Merlin would train him how to fight. Lloyd for some reason thinks he can't fight because a he's white mage and (normal) white mages can't fight. This means that Lloyd was likely trained for a decade how fight, ran away from home, met someone that said well white mages can't fight, and Lloyd went oh white mages can't fight which lead to him erasing all the training he's done I guess.

Maybe now we'll see him fight then he'll say some dumb bullshit like oh that's not fighting that's self defense after easily handling these idiots.
