Well, in the fight between alchemist and the mist guy, they were telling the other person their skill, and judging the reaction to know if the guess was true.
But the beastman hero probably told everything because his abilities are already well-known and don't really have any trick behind them.

I don't have any issue with that, it's just that it seems an odd moment given the supposed revolutionary nature of this kind of power.
Comparatively, a lot of action comics have the powers be generally known and at most it's a "trump card" kind of thing that they pull off in these situations and that needs explaining.
Really that's what I find odd, I'm used to monologues and over-expositions.
