Damn Fia learned how to control that real fast also didn't Lloyd and Rina make up already why she so moody
To give her reconnecting with Mc a progression... Notice how her face is way softer once they're talking about dragon baby.

Also this looks like ir could be mc's main party from now on with the addition of beast girl... Are there any kind novel readers around who could drop a spoiler or two?

Think it's a temp party do to the current arc + in an earlier chapter he said inadvertently created his parties greatest rival team when he introduced the chunni mage to the white mage girl and her sister

Wow.

The MC has actually matured and grown as a character.

I don't know what to say, honestly; i thought the "stupid op" trope was gonna continue, and here we are telling a real story with actual characters.... I'm shook.

This manga has just... consistently gotten better, and I'm happy to read it.

So Fia completely forgets his dead brother and just falls in love with the MC. She's also able to participate in the contest AND able to use the parasite powers that infected her almost immediately. And it never occurs to any of them that she might not be a reliable ally. One of the party members' mind is obviously being messed with but is being camouflaged as contrived tension. And one other participant, a sword user, is missing an entire hand, but joins anyway. This suddenly smells like a wet rag tbh. Wasted so much time here, but that's just how it is here in the world of manga.

Oh, and if you want something in the same vein as this but WORLDS better, "I Left My A-Rank Party..." is a much better read. DON'T WATCH THE ANIME unless you're a literal child and want things spreaky clean. The manga is where it's at.
