I thought the setting was pure copy-pasta, but in fact there's a single "unique" thing: the MC is a peeping Tom. Typically in this class of stories, the MC is fired by their original party due to no fault of their own, or due to a characteristic they can't do anything about, like in the curse enchanter series. In this one, however, the "hero" party actually had a valid reason: A peeping Tom doesn't exactly raise the team's morale or comradeship.

If Lloyd's not one, then the mangaka really did super lousy work depicting it. He knew the girls went to the river to wash themselves, yet the dude specifically went toward the river to pick firewood. Then he somehow ended up climbing a tree growing right by the river bank, and furthermore decided to sit on a branch overhanging the river. How the heck could you ever explain that? You can't. So, he's a peeping Tom. Either that, or the author sucks noodles longer than the three days trip from their guild town to the quest destination.

So from all of that, the conclusion you come to was he's a peeping tom??

Even tho the very reason he climbed that tree was for the fruit he noticed up there, the same fruit that he used to find near his master's place.

With all due disrespect, you're a dumbass....you're really pulling shit out of your ass just to talk shit about the MC

Every peeping Tom always had an excuse.

While the peeping Tom conclusion is silly when taken seriously, as a sarcastic comment, it's on the nose. The main character knew where the girls were and what they were doing; there is no excuse for him to be there. When he heard the moving water, be should have gone the other way.

He didn't, not because he's a peeping Tom, but because the author wanted an ecchi scene and couldn't think of a cohesive way to do it.

Heck, there was a flare gun. Following the movie making law of Chekov's gun, that could have fallen from a rock and shot into the river, and the main character just happened to be close enough to hear it go off, then rushed to them while they were laughing about it going off sideways.

I honestly found the scene just as ridiculous as Kaarme, and the peeping Tom thing, while silly, is at least a legitimate (if stretched) possibility for the MC being where he shouldn't.

Unlike what the author did.

The lucky pervert ecchi scene was not something I expected, it's basically a scene with no other narrative purpose but to provide some quick fanservice. It's only chapter 3 and this is already relying on the ecchi crutch? Is this doing that poorly with sales this early?

I do appreciate how the archer is actually an eagle-eyed scout with a useful ability and not just a token character to tick off from a checklist.

Do appreciate the keen eye of the scout. Waiting for other classes to shine. ik OP MC are pretty much standard formula for banished party theme, but here they're S Rank Party & still amazed by something Lloyd do. Either S-Rank qualifications is lower that I thought(hero party get wrecked & all), or no offence to the previous White Mage that might be purely supportive abilities, single path build.

The lucky pervert moment was almost enough to make me want to drop this. I hate such cliches. Bitch didn't even apologize for trying to attack him. He's way too good for you guys, your scrawny itty bitty baby body is a small price to pay for his services.
