Yeah, I completely forgot the plot. It does look like this chapter focused on a different cast from the main one (I think) so it was still pretty refreshing and easy to follow. I don't even know who that hero character is at this point (I really barely remember the MC and main cast) but I'm positive the plot doesn't need to be wasting time on a character it probably hasn't and does not plan to bother developing in the slightest.

I'm really hoping at some point soon that Shiina and Ruru open their freaking eyeballs and stop simping for this piece of shit. It's glaringly obvious he's going to go the villain route and help the demons in some way shape or form. I wouldn't exactly call them 'good' people, but at the very least they're not the absolute scum that Allen is, and I'd rather not see them dragged down by him and inevitably burn with him.

It's a manga about a support spellcaster who was kicked out from his party, and teamed up with some veteran adventurers who appreciated him more. A welcome change from more usual plotline of MC getting a party of newbies. Of course, he turned out to be awesome, and made that party even more powerful than they already were.
The current plotline is that they've been tasked to covertly escort a princess back to her home.
The archer is part of the party of veteran adventurers.

The S-rank archer is part of MC's party, so he is important to the story.
The "hero" is the one who chased MC out, so the author will probably savor his downfall a lot. With a chance of the "hero" getting to return as a demon, undead or some other bad thing.
