>Aww I feel really bad for Luka @pokefairy He kind of deserves it for what he did in the other timeline.
>I don't get why everyone is trying to constantly push the two of them together. @VersatileFaerie Probably because they're so cute together and get along so well that everyone in the village's rooting for them, I guess.
>In trying to put some distance between herself and Lukas, she might be ironically cause Lukas to try even harder to chase her. @justforthelulz I haven't read the WN, but I'm guessing this will come to pass.
Ok, I get her need and drive for self-care on not being left behind and heart broken... but man, that little boy Luka's face just made my heart break. Lol
I’m confused wouldn’t she want the to follow the game storyline till he departs so that it doesn’t create a paradox or whatever... then again this manga so it is what it is i guess.
@Ahoboy While not the best of explanations, she doesn't know WHAT to contribute on his journey. She mentioned, she has no aptitude for magic, too late already for physical training since its been mentioned Luka will be leaving soon.
@VersatileFaerie Its a small village, everyone knows they're childhood friends, MCs parents already want him as a son-in-law, both kids aren't as close with the other kids (Hero was bullied until
it'll probably be mentioned next chap, but because MC was keeping her distance with him. Hero now plays with the boys of the village who no longer bully him because his eye seal looks cool
, and MC saved him from bullying once(?). Plus, most of the villagers can see the hero had a crush on her at least (enough to vow to protect her and follow her around until he left on his journey), plus OGstory has her confess to him before he leaves so the feelings were mutual until MC was literally forgotten by the plot. Funny thing is, from the available chapters at NU
it'll be mentioned soon enough, but halfway to the game, the hero goes back to the village, specifically its outskirts (so he never got to see MC), to meet a renowned retired alchemist (which will become MCs master in this timeline) and teach him basic alchemy (or at least how to make his own potions), the MC mentions that in order for him not to keep coming back to the village, the hero will be given a magic pot which its functions is basically, putting stuff in until it makes something OR someway to contact the alchemist, leave the ingredients, and the result being magically transported in the pot (sorry, I speedred)
She's 20 on the inside, but she's that dense? Fuck, she might as well be a chicken shit on the inside. That poor boy. Fucking stupid MC. Won't be picking up this lil piece again anytime soon.
I feel bad for luka but then again I get where the MC is coming from. Having a broken heart and the whole village expecting their marriage is not pretty. If she will get abandoned in the end, the whole village would stamp her as the pitiful girl whom the hero has forgotten :/ Not everyone can give an unconditional love to another person u know... So I do not get the hate for the MC at all
Oh and I do not agree that the original novel/game is a bad writing and people blaming for it to cause the little Luka be punished. People need to understand that feelings can change. Therefore it is completely normal for Luka to fall in love and ended up with another person. When the MC confessed he only said “thank you” so they are not exactly in a relationship so it is not considered cheating. Feelings in reality are like that, they can change, thats why long distance relationships and cheating are problems in real world. The MC know full well about that, hence avoid falling in love with him and trying to break others’ expectation for them to get married.
