I don't really like the hero... Like I don't hate him but I wish she would not ended up with him and go for someone else... But honestly at this point we already know how this types of mangas will go

@Kade_BSG My worthless .02 as a faceless stranger on the internet, which you can totally ignore:

I think the concern of TLs over the difference between yuusha vs. eiyuu is overblown, but if you have to use different words for them, it would be better to distinguish between "Victor" (or "Conquering Hero") and regular "Hero", because brave really doesn't cut it, connotatively. Maybe if the word you were translating as "brave" was "yuushi" (I doubt it), I could see using it. It basically means 'Brave man'. But both "yuusha" and "eiyuu" imply in Japanese what we are thinking with "Hero" in English.

Also, your comment about "Combiner" in the notes. Were you referring to where the term "Compounder" came up, or is it something later?

To the TL: You understand that two different words can mean the same thing, right? There doesn't exist any reason or justification to use brave over hero in any context. Or, in your head when a character says "oh brave hero" or something to that effect, do you read it as "oh hero hero"? Adjective vs noun.

Between using Brave and Hero, I for one prefer using Hero.
ブレイブ - Brave < ヒーロ - Hero, 勇者 - Yuusha vs 英雄 Eiyuu is how I see it.
Unless it's explicitly stated that he is a "Brave", I would rather see Hero, since as Anreon said, it would be strange to read "Oh, brave brave!"

I think you should just keep using brave since that's what you've been using since earlier. Going back and redoing those chapters is a waste and I'd rather like you to work on the new one
