page 1 was that supposed to of said 80,000 yen a week and not a month as it says or was it suppose to say 800,000 yen a month? 80,000 a month is living off of less than 800 dollars a month.
I missed this manga's social commentary on how different people treat with real people with depression mixed in with the gag humor.
"Stop being sad and just get a job and have a family with zero problems lmao"
@chieftain20@nobaka I think the photo pinned to the wall was actually taken by the guy in the final frame from the previous comic, where he had taken hold of the camera. It looks like her shocked reaction with her left hand drawn up by her chest and right hand stretching off, clutching the photo she took.
It's also interesting how in the pinned photo he's almost out of shot while she's in the center, while her photo was more even between them but with a bigger portion given over to him. It's tempting to interpret their shot framing as showing how they feel about themselves and each other, given how much the author has put into other little details.
@Open
actually it looks like a photo we've never seen. I guess she tried another selfie with him and it was just slightly less horrifying.
in the photo, the hand off to the side is the hand holding the camera and taking the selfie
@Open yes, I agree with you.
These nice little details make the majority of fluff. Thanks to author.
And thanks to translator. Now in norwegian krones everything is easier to count, but can you also add that in russian rubles, please?
The little demon is correct, that's hard as balls to achieve, especially in Japan where the trade-off between working your ass into the ground and having a healthy relationship is a catch-22 of epic proportions...
Also, Succubus-chick looks like she's ready for Drag-Queen story time on that last panel...
Awkward to admit, but
...There have been times where my family has lived off of $800 a month no problem, but that was the recession...
