Ehhh? This classic trope of some powerful being proposing an impossible challenge for the commoner hero? The romance with Shinya seemed creepy but it makes sense thematically with Satomi wanting to be treated as an adult. This just seems kind dumb. There wasn't any romance with Shinya. Romance is a two-way thing. This is just a 12yo girl developing a crush on an older guy she thinks is cool. That kinda thing happens every day in real life. It's not creepy unless Shinya returned her feelings.
