Jfc she even thought she's in equal strength with one of the oldest member of the resistance even tho she's pretty much just learned how to fight not too long ago. I won't be surprised if this ended with her actually wins and this being the "This'll be the last time I'm training you 😇" type of training arc she needed for a long time ago (seeing her struggling against the female knight prev chap was painful ngl)

i think not telling the boss makes sense, he REALLY erspects kain (theyve super drilled that into us by now) and she didnt have any proof , at the end of the day shes new to the resistance

I understand that MC acting alone is such scenario is valid, but the execution was stupid as hell. She's green af behind the ears and yet she expected to be able to beat someone who's clearly WAY more experienced than her in combat?

But yeah, with how strange the pacing was, knowing this title was axed doesn't surprise me at all.

It sucks it is even shorter than I thought, I checked out the WN after reading this chapter and how many parts and what length they have. I'm surprised if it weren't fully adapted. The story is damn short.

She should have told the boss, just not directly but indirectly. Pretend the boss is in on it and ask the boss why he leaked their ambush. If boss denies it bring up Kain talking to the official and say there is no way the boss wouldnt know. And ask him what he is playing at.

Thus she would indirectly accuse Kain and put the boss at a disadvantage in the argument so boss would then have to prove his inocense

Though I think all this was planned and Kain isnt a traitor

I used a quick google translate to check the last chapter and it is complete. I seen on novels there are only 2 chapters translated at the start and not even the first two chatpers, I guess the rest was either removed or such.

Also the few chapters I checked were all extremely short, I guess anyone could use some deepl and chatbox ai to translate the whole thing in under an hour without proofreading it.
