I can’t really say it was a bad ending, it lived up to the premise of the story. It would be nice with a bit more elaboration but often the elaborating kills the story eventually.

I think Ejima Eri wanted to do a very specific type of plot, maybe she was only interested on representing the heavy conflicts at the very beginning of this relationship, so she decided that to represent the happy-go-lucky stage of the relationship was superfluous, so she finished the series when she thought that all of the big early problems were solved. Taking all of the above into consideration seems to give the answer that the ending was effectively very fitting, so kudos to Ejima Eri for doing what she wanted and not taking the easy way, even knowing that some tards would throw shit to her for not doing what THEY wanted, like a kiss on the grand finale.

The author might have pussied out since the first volume sold pretty well. The creepy stuff is so toned down after the hamfisted confession in favor of some dumb misunderstanding plot. Or maybe the success got over her head and she dun goofed. Whatever it is, there goes my favorite /ll/ series. I can't even get mad. Making a slightly lewd and creppy lesbian lolicon work is just too good—I mean too illegal for the upcoming Olympics.

What's with the moe-dge art shift anyway, ever since the confession? She didn't have enough of it with her previous work?

Yuzumori-san is basically a manga that's good to read as long as it doesn't disturb you. It's cute and funny, but rather "real", so I have to imagine some people would not like it. Wrote this review explaining it a little better.

Hmmm. It's creepy and disturbing in a way... But it still manages to make it somewhat wholesome.
Even if the story was quite heavy with the ahem "pointless and overused drama" (only my opinion) especially the second part, I consider it a good read... If you're not grossed out by that fucked up relationship. As for myself, I just consider it to be a fiction so it passes better.

So yeah, if you can handle that kind of stuff, it can be pleasant.. except Ririha. She's a bitch and I don't care what's your defence. She's just a bitch.
